Judy K. Weaver, R.N., M.B.A., B.S.N.

Chief Executive Officer, Acuity Specialty Hospital of  Ohio Valley

Judy Weaver is a compassionate and accomplished healthcare leader with over 38 years of experience in all facets of healthcare services, management, supervision, administrative duties, finances, direct patient care and public relations.

Judy joined Acuity Healthcare in 2007.  She currently serves a dual role as the Vice President Clinical Quality and Chief Clinical Officer and the Interim Chief Executive Office for Acuity Specialty Hospital of Ohio Valley.

Prior to joining Acuity Healthcare, she served in many roles for Kindred Healthcare to include facility Chief Operating Officer; Chief Executive Officer and Regional Director Clinical Operations. She also served as the Director of Nursing for Vencor Hospital; Project Coordinator, Allegheny General Hospital and Nurse Manager, Medical Intensive Care Unit Allegheny General Hospital.  Judy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California University at the University of Pennsylvania and an Executive MBA from Madison University.

Sara Lane
Regional Chief Financial Officer 

Sara is a seasoned professional who brings more than 10 years of experience to the team. She joined Acuity in 2015 as the controller prior to being promoted to CFO.  She started her career as a staff accountant and has worked her way through all aspects of accounting.

Sara is an active member of the community. She is President of the Ohio Valley Business and Professional Women’s Club, Issues Manager for the State of Ohio Business and Professional Women’s Club, Kent State Accounting Association Alumni and Co-founder of the Jefferson County Young Professionals. Sara holds a bachelor’s of business administration from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio.

Christine Guio Smalley, RN, MSN
Chief Clinical Officer

Chris joined the Acuity team in 2012.  She has been a nurse for 26 years with previous experience in telemetry, critical care, acute hemodialysis, and staff development.  Chris received her associate degree from West Virginia Northern Community College, then went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Wheeling Jesuit University.  She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Franciscan University with a focus on the Education Specialist Track.


Dusty A. Bowers, MHA, RRT-NPS
Chief Quality-Compliance Officer

Dusty Bowers is a seasoned clinician and leader in the healthcare industry with more than 30 years of experience.  She began her Acuity career in 2009 as a respiratory manager.  Her ambition and constant desire to improve the healthcare environment for patients and staff, led her through progressively challenging roles as Director of Operations and Chief Operations Officer before becoming Chief Quality-Compliance Officer.

Dusty began her respiratory therapy career at a 575 tertiary hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she was a member of the NICU/PICU air and ground transport team prior to entering leadership.  She completed her bachelor’s degree from Independence University where she also completed her Masters in Healthcare Administration.


Tracey Cutri, RN, CCM
Director of Case Management

Tracey joined Acuity Specialty Hospital of Ohio Valley in May 2007 as a Case Manager. Tracey has more than 20 years of health care experience. She has experience in family practice, emergency, critical care, hemodialysis, and as a nurse recruiter. She has also worked for a large commercial insurance company. Tracey is a graduate of West Virginia Community College and a licensed Registered Nurse in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Heather Kemper, R.N., B.B.A
Director of Provider Relations

Heather Kemper joined Acuity Specialty Hospital, Ohio Valley in 2005.  She combines her passion and commitment to exceptional patient care, patient satisfaction and service in healthcare as the Director of Provider Relations. Her nursing degree was obtained from Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She continued her education and obtained a Bachelor in Business Administration from Kaplan University.

Jason Kuhn, MSN, RN, APRN
Certified Nurse Practitioner

Jason is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. He brings 14 years of experience to his role at Acuity Specialty Hospital of Ohio Valley where he is an integral member of the team.

Jason is extremely passionate about patient care and works tirelessly to collaborate with physicians to provide expert care.

In addition to his extensive clinical experience, Jason also has an outstanding academic background that includes Master of Science in Nursing from Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, from Chamberlain College of Nursing, in St. Louis, MO. He is a member of the American Nurses Association, West Virginia Nurses Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Jodi Rusinovich
Business Office Manager & Credentials Coordinator

Jodi Rusinovich, Business Office Manager & Credentials Coordinator joined Acuity Specialty Hospital of Ohio Valley in May 2008. Jodi arrived with 30 years of Healthcare experience within the tri-state area. She began her career at WMC in 1980, Kindred Hospital 1999, and Acuity Specialty Hospital in 2008. She oversees the daily business office duties as well as medical staff credentialing.

Denise Yocum
Director of Human Resources

Denise Yocum joined the Acuity Specialty Hospitals of Ohio Valley leadership team in September 2016.  Her area of responsibility focuses on every aspect of Human Resources Management.

Prior to working with Acuity Healthcare, Denise worked 12 years at a Fortune 500 sales and service organization.  She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1998.

Rosanna Conforti
Admission Coordinator

Rosanna received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Wheeling Jesuit University. She brings a great deal of experience in admissions to Long Term Acute Care Hospitals. She started with a long term acute care hospital in 2009 where she was instrumental in a new hospital start up. She also managed both inpatient and outpatient admissions. Currently, she is coordinating admissions for our three locations.
